Science Experiment Anywhere Challenge for you!👍 The interest that the children showed in creating science experiment videos has made us move on to the next step of acknowledging and appreciating their work and to showcase their talents 👏🏻👏🏻 The SEA Challenge was conducted in the last week of July where students creatively and confidently demonstrated their experiments. It was great to watch the videos on the experiments presented by our kids of grades 3, 4 and 5. These experiments were judged by Mrs.Tamil Selvi of AK for grade3.Mrs.Muthusudha Co Ordinator, Mahatma Baba building for grade 4 and Mrs Premalatha Headmistress, Mahatma Baba Building for grade 5. Our students have given their best with the limited resources available in their houses even during this odd situation. Kudos and Hats off to the Winners and Congratulations to all the participants.

The third Online Debating session was organized for graders of 6 and 7 on 29th August 2020 on the topic, 'Will India become a developed nation in the near future?' The aim of the session was to hone public speaking skills of students and reach them to be articulative, while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The students spoke eloquently. The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts, ideas and perspectives. Mr.Peter, from Mahatma CBSE school Alagar Koil, judged the session. Omar and Tarunika were adjudged as the Vibrant speakers from the Proposition and Opposition teams respectively.

Books are meant to be discussed and to be delved into. With a motive to hook students into reading habit and into books, The Book Talk session was conducted in the last week of July where students creatively and confidently introduced the book that was close to their hearts. It was a mind blowing session where students skillfully unwrapped their favourite books. The session for Grade 6 was judged by Mrs. Gomathi, English coordinator, MGG .The session for grade 7 was judged by Mrs.Shakila Surendran, Head Mistress of Junior school, Mahatma Baba building. The session for Grade 8 was judged by Mrs. Vijaya Sundar, Principal of Mahatma Montessori School KK.Nagar. Today’s students see them as digital natives, the first generation to grow up surrounded by technology and this session was an eye opener to state that students still enjoy the company of books.
